Hello, I am trying to install Mac-OS-X-10.4.7-AMD.Intel-(JaS)-ISO-Repack.iso to VMWare Workstation 5.5.2 build 29772. When the install starts it pegs the cpu to 100% and 'freezes' just after the screen resolution change. Typically around the time the words 'ACPI: Button driver prevents system sleep' are displayed. Sometimes it gets further and sometimes it doesn't even get that far. This release is supposed to be the INTEL and AMD versions, is there a different version you recommend?

I am able to get a Maxxus release 10.4.5 to boot in VMWare, but not Jas 10.4.7 which I had hoped to then upgrade to 10.4.8. This is a Asus iLife motherboard bought within the last year. If I was getting an error, then I could google, but this just appears to peg the cpu and hang. Any way to turn on logging or further debug this install to try and pinpoint the issue?

It is intel and amd, anyway set cpus to 1 for vmware. Okay, burned the iso to dvd and was able to install it from the physical dvd even though the mounted iso was giving me issues. New Problem After install it won't boot into the OS, just get this message very time: 'The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. You will need to power off or reset the virtual machine at this point.' Any ideas where to go from here? My cpu does support SSE2 & SSE3 Thanks!
